2020

At the end of 2020 we saw the economic impact that Covid 19 had on our community and knew we had to get involved in order to ensure children had presents under their Christmas tree. Riley’s Reindeers was born and developed in a two car garage, we started off with just two of us raising money for toys and picking up toy donations for all of November and we had people sign up with their addresses and children’s ages. We spent all of December driving to houses (even dressed as Santa!) and dropping off wrapped gifts for children. Over 270 children received Christmas gifts in December 2020 but we knew we could reach more families. Luckily, we figured out a better way to streamline things after our first year as an organization, thus making it possible to help more families in the community.
